Paying potential affiliates to try my site.

I have an affiliate site that is better than all the others in it's category. It converts very well, and has a high customer satisfaction rate. Unfortuanely however, I am failing to attract many affiliates. I know that if they try my site they will want to recommend it. Is it okay to pay potential affiliates to put my site on theirs for a certain amount of time, $200 for a week for instance?

Thanks

It's OK.

What is it? put it in your profile or something.

yes, good affiliates are usually very choosy of which merchant do they choose to sell products for...and the real people understand, choosing what you are an affiliate for, is really IMP.

Sounds interesting.....!

You might want to tie in some kind of performance/longevity bonus so you're not just giving free cash away. That having been said, if you want to give me $200 to have a look.......

If it's that good, affiliates would be beating your door down. Offering money will certainly get you a big bill, but if the affiliates aren't coming then you have to ask some expert affiliates why not.

I'd be happy to volunteer and I don't want $200.
