1) I have make few hoplinks for products am interested , can i modify that description of Anchor text to make it more relevant to product?
2) Does clickbank use cookies to track referals? what if user i refer signup and buy in few hours and by visitng the product website directly?
Since i have placed hyperlinks (those hoplinks) directly onto my website google will direclty pick those links...does that affect my website in anyway
1)You can modify the description of link text to anything you wish.
2)It's my understanding that if customer has cookies turned off, no money for you. If they go to another site with same offer and buy there, the last cookie in gets the commission.
Google will track the link but I don't know G's opinion of same.
cookies seems to be the standard way to track affiliates no matter where you go.
the good thing about clickbank is that you can promote som many products by just changnig one part of your affiliate link.
As a beginner clickbank is an excellent choice.
I run a Customer Acquisition Exchange for affiliates and CB is a big hit amongst our community members.
the main account page which shows summary when i login shows different amount (less) and the page when i click reports shows different ( more then shown out)
what might be problem , i tried clearing my cache , tried different browsers dont know whats happening.
i opened clickbank account just 4 days back , and dont know why its happening what are my real earnings , those which are shown in outer area or that which is shows in reports , reports show each andy every transaction with details
