Any idea on which is the most effective way to promote an Inhouse Affiliate program - well known domestically but not so much internationally? The program is the best in its category

Directly contact those potential affiliates who you feel can bring immediate sales to your product. Of course you'll need to convince them that your programs pays more, converts better etc. than the competitors. On really good affiliates, you might consider throwing a bonus their way for signing up once they reach an agreed upon amount of sales.

Thanks for the reply. I completely agree with you. But how do I reach out to the "potential affiliates" that actually know the how to make the most of an affiliate program. The problem that I am facing is that I am not able to reach out to the global community of affiliates located in the US, UK. Currently, I have only a handful who are enjoying doing business with us, as we work on a one on one basis with the affiliate and we offer customized bonuses, incentives etc.. to achieve mutually set targets based on individual reach and capacity. Once again, as I do not have a CJ, Link Share etc.. how do I reach out to the global community of affiliates in the US and UK
