Gravity/ product selection

Hi guys just want to know if one should put much weight in "product gravity" in promoting and choosing a product? Does high gravity translate into much bigger sales? Please lecture me in product selection.

yes caveman, i am reffering to CB. I have read the link and its very helpful. I do have other questions.

1) it mentioned in the link that you placed that it can be better if instead of using the landing pages of the vendors it would be better if I can create my own and just have a link directly to the order page. Does this method iliminate the possibility of being robbed of your commission because of the cookies. I read in another forum that if a person clicks in a link and decides not yet to buy and decides later to buy but clicks on another link the sale would be credited to the first link and in the process the second does not get anything?

2) Are there others aside from clickbank that are good at affiliate biz? I wanted to try regnow but there payment policy is too long.

Can you guys give me some more tips in choosing right products.
