My sales never remain steady. One of my sites generate maybe 20 sales a month. This year July, it generated around 60 new sales. In August, it was even better generated around 80 new sales. BUT this month it only made 16 sales so far. I checked my traffic and didn't find any problems, steady hits from search engine. I also added some new sponsors and advertisements last week but seems like sales not picking up. Does anyone know whats going on? Thx for ur helps.

Sales flux is definitely normal, though not necessarily to the amount your site has seen.

Many times there are factors that go into which months do better than others. If for example you had a site that deals with children's clothes, you would expect the month or two leading up to the start of school to be really good, then drop off once school started.

Hello eljefe3, thx for replying. There are around 20 sponsors on my site and each of them has the worse conversion ratio ever this month. I am wondering maybe it has something to do with my traffic, probably Bookmarkers sick of seeing the same ads. But what about Search Engine traffics? I have around 400 targeted people from Google And Yahoo. Are those really fresh traffic or some of them been to my site before?

By the way, nice to meet you, My name is Ken.

Hi ken. You can study your logs to find this out.

I find that for one of my sites, it gets a significant amount of traffic from people search for the website URL name (it is unique), or unique phrases from it. So I know that whatever percentage comes in through those keywords, have either heard of the site through a friend, or have been there before.
