i run a site that deals with online confessions, you know, the kind that people can post whatever anonymously. Well, it turns out that people's favorite thing to confess has to do with adult stuff(my boyfriend cheated on me, I lust for a corworker, etc - and some confessions kinda get graphic), to the point that I think adsense picked up on that and doesn't display anymore on that site. That's fine.

I was wondering what are some alternatives, maybe banner ads are more related to the type of audience that reads these? I never played with banner ads, so please pm me sites i could find advertisers for?

I know I saw on Linkshare some merchants for intimate lingerie, etc. Maybe that would work on your "confessions" site.

Google goes by specific words - you can still get adsense by autosubstituting words, unless you feel that 'talking dirty' is vital to the site?

I have a related forum and have never had any complaints about the lack of fruity words - and that just attracts the teenage trolls, anyway.

Personals & there are some toy programs in CJ and at least one independent that is pretty big. Maybe credit counseling if these are people are headed for divorce. Electronic self-help books? Never make enough on actual print books, maybe romantic gifts or flowers if people are feeling guilty.
