Well, I registered at bluehost.com as an affiliate. They offer 65$ per refferal. Not so bad.
But then I registered on cj.com and saw bluehost offering 90$ per each sell.
Why are this numbers different? Should I delete my bluehost account and sign up at cj for bluehost.
Tnx for answers.
And another question. Hosting for 1 year costs 7$*12=84$. So if I sign up with my refferal I get free hosting +6$?
Is bluehost stupid or I am?
Just go with the flow. They have a business plan and think it will work; only time will tell. Meanwhile, enjoy the money.
can I offer on internet that I pay them 50$ if they sign up with my refferal? So they get hosting for 34$ and i get 40$?
Best to check with the affiliate manager for this sort of thing, ditto cookie length.
If you can't get answers, you could use a PHP script to randomize the CJ/in-house links and see which makes more money over a period of time.
On cj:
1month: 100$
cookie last 2months
Of course prices are better on cj (nobody wiil sign up for 20+ moths). It would be logical if prices would be better on their homepage but they aren't.
I think their must be explanation for this. Maybe cj don't pay you for each sell (they cheat:)).
what do you think?

I've heard a fair few stories from of 'tracking issues' from CJ affiliates. I switched a PPC campaign for an in house affiliate programme to CJ chasing higher commission rates, only to find that the conversion rate fell through the floor - despite no other changes. Make of that what you will.
