Is there a username based affiliate script?

Hi all

im looking to install an affiliate script on my site, but need one which doesnt reference a URL - the new member simply adds the referrer's username into the submission form on signup to recieve a 10% discount, and then the referring member gets a commission.

Is there anything out there that is capable of this? all i can find is URL based affiliate/commission systems....

Man I've seen a bunch, but can't recall offhand. I can remember when I was a newbie I signed up at some aff programs with a username that reflected my nic/name....Not what I wanted to do. Have you checked cgi resources and hotscripts? Seems to be a lot of aff scripts at those two sites.

Yeah, ive only found one so far- its called Ultimate Affiliate. Has anyone used that at all or heard anything about the company?

i wanted to be able to compare it to something, but so far havent found bupkis.
