General question on affiliate programs

Hi,

Here's the story.

My sales were up and for the past week or so, they sales have fallen. I'm thinking of setting up an affiliate program, but do not know how to go about, even do not know if it will work.

I need help!

What's the best course of action to take please? I was going to set up an affilaite program in hopes that more orders would come in. I would want to somehow let other sites know about mine and givbe them a commission for every order that they sent my way.
