Pud reports that Linkshare is about to have another layoff -30% this time.

Why doesn't that surprise me?

This is not good, I am finally getting someone to help me with accounting problems. (They don't seem to be able to cut checks for the same amounts showing in their reports - up to half of what is supposed to be paid, for more than one month.)

This is distressing, I was hoping for a comeback. (wishful thinking) :(

I dropped Linkshare about a month ago -on 'paper' the money was good, $20-30 per day, but there was always something to contend with. With the exception of Befree (where the merchants have -so far- sent checks and even responded to emails), I'm concentrating on CJ or other networks where the merchants have to pay the kitty.

Unfortunately, I can't be as choosy of who I use as affiliate managers. I have to go to whoever has the merchants I need. In my case Linkshare has the account for my number 1 merchant.

I would love to see Linkshare go out of business, and force their merchants to go to CJ! I love CJ, but they have very few merchants that I can use. Linkshare is constantly losing commissions for me. I write them and they say that it's nearly impossible to not get credit for a sale! LOL

I order things personally, and the commissions don't show up! Makes you wonder how many other sales I have lost over time!

So far CJ has been very good, and I would love to see them get some of Linkshares merchants.
