So here's the story. I've signed for CJ maybe a year ago to try it out. But, as my main site is non-english, it didn't work out for me. In the meantime I did get 8$ on my account for an Ebay lead. So, a couple of weeks ago I was working on a new site this time in english and I thought of going to CJ to check their offers.

-"Hmmm my email isn't associated with any account....ok let me just email them"

Guess what? Never got a answer...incredible.

Well, you didn't make enough for the minimum payout, and they delete non-active accounts after a year I believe. Something like that.

Check their TOS - you'll find it there.

C'mon... Does an entry on their database take that much space?

It may be on their TOS (I don't if it is) which I accepted when I joined but I think this is just wrong and I will never used them again.

Thks for the feedback.

I lost an account with $5 on it. And I do agree that it's really wrong closing the accounts. There was no warning email or nothing. Obviously they are doing it not to save database space, but to get keep the money that were unclaimed. I am pretty sure that it's a good portion of their overall income.

Yes moltar that's what I think too and I guess it's pretty obvious. I just never thought a big (respectable?) company like CJ would do this. Anyway newbies consider yourself warned. I wasn't....

Always check the TOS of every program you sign up for. Whether they are big or small, you need to read the TOS to CYA.
