Should I sell advertising package on my site?

My site has thousands of pages and receives near ten thousands of unique visitors each day (it was 40% more before Aug 25th google update.

I meant to sell advertising package shortly after the traffic doubled, however recently I received over 7 emails about advertising in my site, it is really a difficult dicision for me, because I know the current advertising space does not have good click rate, the price rate may not be so good, I suppose it should be much better if the site doubles the traffic, becuase I am expecting good word of mouth.

What is your thought? I am ready to hear your comments on it.
