We are creating a few hundred keywords on the products we sell on our web site in Adwords & Overture. Is there anyway to track the performace of the keyword in leading up to a sale? In other words, seeing which keywords actually convert into a sale? Also, mostly working with Befree & Linkshare merchants.

Thanks,

Just like you would be able to tell when an affiliate brings you a sale: if each link contains a token that is associated with a KW, you can track traffic from that source to see how it converts.

But how do you know if a lead transfers into a sale when it is done on the server of the merchants?

Thanks,

In Befree, look into their "Flex Tracking" and in LS, look into their "Signature" service. These programs allow you to attach an identifying word/phrase to each link that will be passed through and available in reports within in each network interface. You can view which phrase delivered each sale.

Are these new services available to be integrated with their datafedd access?

Not that it's important, but they are not new services.

Integrated with datafeeds... hmm, define integrated.
Your best bet is to learn how each system works and determine for yourself if it will meet your needs with datafeeds.
