from people in the programs now. any major differences. I know all about the art dot com problems of months ago when they changed their affiliate program but they seem to be back to how they were before now.

any differences in conversion rates, etc. Have always been a member of allposters and have just joined art dot com to have a dabble.

thanks in advance

I changed from Allposters.com to Art.com (after being invited) back in November and have noticed major increases in my earnings since.

Their control panel needs a few improvements, such as dead link spotting (which is apparently in the pipeline) but overall, I'm very happy with them so far.

Mark, Did you also see an increase on clicks to art? Or is it just because you sent them more visitors? Or do you have a higher commission (invitation!?!)?

I'm seeing similar clickthroughs but a higher conversion via Art.com

Because I was invited, I do indeed receive a higher commission but this has no bearing on the increased CTR.

Art.com has much better thumbnails than the ones on AllPosters.com, and that could influence the conversion rate.

However, Art.com's history of switching back and forth between an in-house program and is something to think about before enrolling. You could find yourself having to chuck a load of pages and links (as I did) if Art.com pulls another of its switcheroos.

They've now got a team dedicated to the in-house program. Whilst this is always a possibility, they now seem to be far more concentrated on making this work. Worth sticking with IMO but don't sue me if I'm wrong! ;)

Art.com has allowed scumware and parasites in, Allposters.com has an active ANTI-scumware policy. You'll never see them on ebates, igive or any of those horrible places.

This alone makes allposters.com the only choice as far as I am concerned. (Mind you, there's plenty of other reasons to choose allposters!)

I work with both programs, but I'm happier with allposters, and not only because I make more money there. My CTR on allposters is noticably higher and their staff is a lot more responsive (but that might be because I'm bigger there).

I'm quite unhappy with the way art.com track sales. I send a fairly steady stream of traffic their way, but sales are not steady. I regularly see days without any sales at all to be followed by one or too days with an extraordinary number of sales. They haven't tracked sales on weekends for all of january. Also, I haven't been able to get a decent answer about this behaviour from art.com.
