I'm a publisher with CJ and I just signed up with a new advertiser. I just did this about a week ago and I am getting a lot of clicks every day to their site but I haven't earned any money yet....does the advertiser have to run anything before any sales/leads will show up? The advertiser I signed up with is really targeted with my site and I get paid based on leads so I'm shocked I haven't gotten a penny yet.

Go to your advertisers list, and click on the advertiser you are referring to. Scroll down to where it says "Batch Process". If this says "yes" then there will be a list of most recent batch dates. You can see if there is a reliable pattern. If it says "no" then the leads/sales are logged in real time.

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure that if it says no for batch process that the sales/leads would show up in real time? I tested it out by buying something cheap and it hasn't shown up after two days.

Are you seeing your clicks being tracked in CJ's reporting? This is the first thing I would check. Next best thing is to email the affiliate manager for the program via the CJ interface and ask for some sort of explanation. If the traffic is in fact targeted and the clicks are not converting, it might be time to try another program.

The clicks are definitely getting tracked....getting lots of clicks but no sales/leads so far although I know there is at least my one sale that isn't showing up.

Yes. If you feel there is a tracking error, contact support. But, the leads do show up in real time if there is no batching. Sounds like you are working with a product that converts poorly.
