Hello All,

Do you know of any affiliates out there that sell books on web development and let you build text links to their sites (perhaps by exposing web service of some kind). i do not want to use banners on my site and therefore am looking for very targeted yet non-intrusive ways to advertise. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
James

I don't really get you.
Do you want to sell your book or do you want to sell others books on your site?

Sure,

Biblio dot com
Choosebooks dot com
Alibris dot com
etc..

There are atleast ten good sites that I can think of right now. You just have to keep your mind open to the oppertunities. What you really want is a site that offers a datafeed for the select stuff you want to sell. I know that Biblio does. But you have to check with other companies if they do also.

great thanks all,

i tried using amazon's program but all the links i used had a very ugly banner above them saying "SHOP NOW!". I don't know if they offer custom xml feeds based on certain category/keywords so that i control the appearance of the links.

other suggestions sound great. i'll check them out (in particular, biblio)

best,
james

If you use their XML feed you can format the book information any way you want it to look.
