Websponsors / WebClients.net

Anyone use them or have info on them?

I signed up for an affiliate account with Websponsors a few years ago, tried promoting various of their programs off and on, but never found one of their programs to convert. Recently, I found a program of theirs that is converting, but I'm wondering if they're going to pay.

Their latest "Network News" update is from July saying "May payments have been sent!" This isn't very promising.

They don't have very many details about what constitutes something you get paid for, and this is kind of worrisome. E.g, "When the user completes this form, it's a lead," or "When the user completes this form, and confirms their email address, it's a lead," etc: it just says stuff like "Free offer" or "Trial offer" etc.

I also can't seem to get anyone there to return my emails, even though their site says in several places that they respond quickly, yadda yadda.

Are they even in business anymore, or is their site just kind of a shell of old code that no one ever bothered to take down? Anyone running their programs/getting paid?

Can anyone tell me whether or not their "revenue generated" stats tend to equal actual check amounts or not?

Sorry if this should go elsewhere -- I did a site search here on "websponsors," and only got two results, neither of which seemed to have any details about the company.

Thanks for any info!

I've used them for about 2-3 years now. I get a check each month from them, usually its payment for the period 2-3 months prior to the current one. They're a little slow but the checks are consistent...I think they just hold out a while because of reversals.
