Anyone been paid by Napster yet?

Where's my dough?

I've sent at least 1,000 people into the Napster 2 signup area and have yet to receive any thing. I emailed CJ and they claim Napster has yet to run any transaction reports. So just wondering if we are all in the same boat or if anyone has been paid yet.

Thanks,

Jim

To date I have sent Napster over 10,500 customers from my site. I have been paid for 26 subscriptions at $6.00 each ($156) through Commission Junction. All were for clicks after October 29th. I emailed Napster today to find out if I have more commissions in the works. I sure hope so because 0.0024% ratio of clicks to customers ain't much!

How many of the people do you think used kazaa lite and never were able to see the landing pages do to the modified hosts file?

Wow...now I understand why. I think all those guys were looking for the old FREE napster and didn't want to pony up that hard earned 99 cents to download a track!

Thanks for the info. I turned off my pump to napster and am putting it to a better ($) use.

I got an email from Napster and they claim they are paying out each Monday I believe. So you have to wait a week to find out how many leads you have sent them.

I have mailed them a number of times regarding this, and they keep telling me 'we are going to run a batch real soon'. I've stopped believing them.

I did not get any presents from Napster this week either. I wonder what the deal is...

Does anyone know any good mp3/music download type programs to use in place of Napster that convert well?

Rhapsody (via Real.com on CJ) also has an affiliate program, but I've not determined whether it pays out well or not.

Personally, I think both Rhapsody and Napster are excellent services (I've subscribed to the former, and currently subscribe to the latter), but it seems that both are pretty 'weak converters" for us affiliate folks.

Napster has an auto-reject for non-US publishers...but I am trying out Rhapsody. No sales yet.

look at the landing pages! would you buy something there?

I wouldn't, the new napster sales site is dreadful, such a dissapointment. A redesign would do them alot of good, IMHO.

Side note, maybe all their sales money went towards their boxed software of their program I saw at Frys? ;)
