3rd party banner click tracking?

This may or may not be a service that even exists, however, it might be commonplace.

Here's the deal. I need to track the # of campaign-unique (at least 24 hours, preferably more) clicks on my banners at different referrers' websites.

I would create the tracking myself, but I'd like it to be from a 3rd party.

Do you only need to have a number of unique clicks reported to you? Or might you be referring to some post-click analysis capabilities as well?

I am looking for a 3rd party tracking system that enables me to pay publishers by the click.

Basically, how it works, is the publisher installs some code onto his page with my banner URL. It then tracks the # of click-thru's and I pay them by a chosen amount.

I could code it myself, but most publishers are not trusting unless it's a 3rd party tracking system.

On another note, I was thinking of coding a script for my own benefit that kept track of the # of clicks that referrers sent by the day, as well as the # of clicks my various banners pulled in. But, if it's already coded by a 3rd party, I can just use theirs.

SO PLEASE HELP, I'M CONFUSED!

I think you need something more sophisticated, as a simple clicktracker is extremely unreliable and exploitable.
You could perhaps search at the ODP, Yahoo directory or huge script sites for suitable scripts, there's a lot of tools and services available.
