..why I prefer Premium

Today I was searching for a tool to help me keep track of passwords and accounts, and saw 2 ads - one in the premium spot and one on the right hand side.

First I was drawn to the premium ad - I figured if they were in Premium they have more money to invest therefore they must be a reputable company. Pretty stupid, I know, but I wonder if other people think that way?

Then I thought, perhaps the one on the right is once guy coding from his garage, and maybe he offers a better product because that's all he does. So I clicked on that.

Then I realized why it makes sense to cover all three basis - premium (soon to be adwords), adwords, and organic - it makes it impossible for people not to click on your ad.

Anyways, it was a bit of an epiphany, just thought I'd share.

2_much: I think you are thinking a little too much. Most surfers click on ads/search results based on what they see - the ad copy (or the description of the search results).

And um.. you didn't tell us why you prefer Premium ads. You clicked on the "garage coder's" ad, didn't you?
