Hi,
I have just started my own greeting affilate program and willing to know how can i promote my affiliate scheme which doesn't offers any commission but helps to build the content of my affiliate member thereby increasing his site's exposure. I would appreciate if somebody could send me some sample emails which would attract members to join my scheme.

Regards,
Jeff

first of all, do not ever refer to it as a scheme. That word has so many negative conotations... couple that with spam in my inbox and I don't give your program a first look.

Be extremely delicate with all email promotions. Email promo is really deservedly getting beat up like crazy right now. If you are serious... a few well placed phone calls or a snail mail letter or two to get you started may be a good way to build a little momentum.

Thanks Matt,
But how can I rely on all that Email Promos. I would like to send mails from my on Webmail and look for better output.
Can you suggest me some sites where I can find some sample emails with which I will let him join my affiliate program.
I mean I need to know the process if writing emails

Read the presentation below:
[webmasterworld.com...]

Its an interesting and informative read, theres a few good ideas in there somewhere that might be applicable to what your doing right now. And in any case i think its worth a read either way.

I think the words "program/programme/partnership" are more suitable than "scheme". For what its worth.

Im not sure how easy you will find it to get some examples of emails, but a rule anything that you have deleted is a bad example. Try not to focus on it too much. Just imagine that your in a room with one person and your trying to sell the affiliate program. Then put down what you would say in words, and re-edit a couple of times to make it sound good.

Just my 2 bob.

Lots of UK companies refer to their affiliate programs as schemes. Must have a different connotation over there.

I think the word "scheme" is more commonly associated with something bad, in places such as the USA than it is here in the UK. But IMO "scheme" sounds a little dishonest. Not to dwell on it too much.

Thanks for all the replies. But what I wanted to ask fell into some debate. It was not related with scheme or program but the motto was to how to promote affiliate program. If I could get some sample emails through which i could attract more members to join my greeting affiliate program.

PLease if anny1 cud give me suggestions.

It could be because 'scheme' reminds one of 'scheming minds' :)
