I need some advise about the best way to do banner exchange. Someone have experiencie about this? and what kind of software use? If it is free, better than better. At least at the begining.

If you are seeking non-conflicting websites, search for the relevant sites and drop a short sharp and polite request to the webmaster requesting an exchange.

Or - are you looking at setting up a banner exchange business?
