Affiliate network and geography?

How many affiliate networks supports publishers from India?

Can some body give inputs on it? I have looked at cj and there is no support for India. I didn't find India as a country in sign up form.

same prob i m having. Though i dunno about CJ , other affiliate networks (some may pay by mailing the cheque) they dont mind sending it to india. Also if they pay by online service like paypal then u can use it.

if any1 else knows something then i would also like to know the answer to this question...

If you have significant US traffic then i dont think its a problem in joining any affiliate program .

Personally i think except for lead/CPC no affiliate programs should screen sites as they are going to pay only on a sale. Rejecting affiliates is a bad idea . you never know who you miss!

Lalo , write to CJ or to the concerned Merchants directly explaining about your site/traffic and i am sure you may have success . Wish you Good Luck!

Already wrote to cj's support department but no answer even after 72 hrs. Are there any site owners running affiliate program from India through any network?

This is a reply received from CJ..

"Commission Junction is not accepting new publisher applications from a number of countries at this time, and India is one of them. This could change in the very near future, but it involves changes to our site and service that are still under development."

While on the topic , any such problems with Burst or Tribalfusion ppl ; are they biased against publishers based on geographical areas? My site draws a large US based traffic (70%) . SO any one have any ideas about this?

I have a US mall, but I'm based in the UK, Walmart rejected me. When I sent them a 'your loss pal, look at the competition' response - they accepted me.

Geography has a lot to with it...much is nonsense.

Because advertisers had very bad expirence with publishers from certain countries especially Russia , China and India . But its mainly CPM and CPC ... But in a affiliate environment where you get paid only if you sell it shoudn't matter ,IMHO . Its sure a shortsight in the networks part.

Lalo maybe you can try the other networks and some independent affiliate programs. You can always buy a US maildrop address and start a US bank account but then you will have US tax liability ...

Maybe a canadian/uk maildrop address and bank account will work?

I believe some matrimonial services run affiliate programs , eg: shaadi.com ( he is a member here) . If you have a good NRI traffic you can try that.
