hi ,
after reading somewhere re kazaa killing cj links i did some checking users with kazaa installed can not see links from cj or banners and if they click on empty space nothing happens , with its large installed base did you know that webmasters could be losing as much as 15% of click throughs,
I amongst many others had a link to kazaa on a page so knifing myself in the back so point your visitors to kazaa at your own peril
PS checked even after QUOTE kazaa Deinstall cj links still do not appear

It's actually much lower than 15% but still a problem. It's caused by Kazaa modifying the Windows Hosts file. According to CJ it should be addressed in their next update. You will just have to replace your existing qksrv.net links with ones that include random generated subdomains. This will breakthrough any modifications done to the hosts file by Kazaa.

The last marketing reach report I saw, now some months ago, had Gator at 8% as I recall. Given all the flavors of 'interceptionware' I see (I have one general site that gets daily traffic from toolbars and surfing aids that are beyond obscure --the crap people will put on their machine!), I guesstimate that the cumulative effect of all of them may be approaching 15-20% if your site has the targeted keywords.
