Is there much difference apart from how they report your performance? I'm also hoping to sign up with cj and another Advertising co so any info would be much appreciated. Although I know (and understandably) you affiliates can be a bit secretitive!

TIA

I use both networks, but not for the same merchant. I would compare cookie duration, and return sales. I think you have to request this info from befree. You might even try contacting ebay for differences - they may have a preference of which network they like better. (Find out why.)

CJ, BeFree, and LinkShare are the "Big 3"

Also consider independent programs (aff program managed by merchant themselves) that fit closely with your site's theme/topic.

I think using CJ for ebay is better because then if you see another program at Cj that might could work its earnigns are combined with your overall earnings.
With Befree its minimum payouts for each and every advertiser. With Cj if you see 100 programs you can each earn $5 per month with you will see that money with Befree you might have to wait a year until you reach $50 in each of those programs by then many may be gone and you get nothing.

Don't know anything about BeFree but IMO, cj is outstanding. Great reporting that is updated, not real time but seems to be close. Its very easy to use and to break out performance most any way you want to slice it.
