Has anyone else noticed that CJ seems to take forever to get back to new potential clients?

I'm been sending followup emails and phone calls for a month now, and no one's ever gotten back to me.

To become an advertiser to have people sell YOUR products through the CJ affiliate accounts?

When I called the other day I had someone on the phone within 15 minutes of e-mail to them. I didn't see getting a hold of them as a problem really. What are you saying in your messages? :D

Sorry for being so cryptic. :)

I want to join CJ as an advertiser to promote my company's services. No one ever calls me back.

I'm a little worried, as bad front line sales usually indicates bad customer support in general.

rintrah,

I'm in several CJ programs. I never have had a problem getting through to CJ. I know they are VERY selective about accepting new merchants but even if they were not interested in your site they should still return calls and emails.

I have heard that CJ has become very selective in the past six months or so. As an affiliate marketer, that's actually music to my ears because historically I have to wade through about ten merchants to find one that's worth promoting. Anything the networks do to weed out the losers up front saves me from wasting my precious energy.

Still, they should respond to you one way or another. I know one small but high quality merchant that they rejected for the wrong reason. I sent a contact at CJ a personal recommendation, they reconsidered and that merchant got in.

Catalyst's offer to help should open the door.

I certainly hope so, as while I can definately understand CJ's position (as an affiliate late last year, there were an appalling amount of rinky-dink homepages with little-to-no payouts to wade through).

However, we're a multi-million dollar per year company, so I fail to see why we wouldn't meet their requirements.

We're having the same problem. No one has gotten back to us in over 2 weeks, after repeated calls and emails. We're trying to add a second site, as we already have an advertiser account with them for over 2 years.
