China is not the only one..
CJ isn't available to Russia and Ukraine, and Shareasale to United Arab Emirates, for example.
Anyway, you can easily avoid this using an US address - there are plenty of services providing this option.

The easiest way is to find someone in US who will receive your cheques and then send them to your country. Try IRC or internet forums.

I think India is also on that list ... i dont think giving just an US address is a solution because for US residents the networks need SSN or Federal Tax ID... One way is to incorporate in US and getting a US Fed tax id and also US address ... Lot of online services can do this for moderate fee ...

But i think its a mistake in the networks part to avoid more than one third of the worlds population... India + China!...

Cheating will not be a problem for pay per sale program ...only problem comes to lead generation progams...

The network's should not decide themself but give the merchants the choice to decide whether to accept people from those countries or not

For a US address to have your mail forwarded, you can use mailboxes, etc.
[mbe.com...]

The real question here is where is your site traffic from. If you primarily cater to a US audience, you may be accepted in some situations. Just inquire before applying.

Explain to them your situation. As long as you are running an English website and have proven record of many North American and European traffic, you have a good chance to get signed up. I had a few website running CJ's program when I was back in Canada. After I moved to China, CJ suspended my account because my IP was from China. I talked to them and after a few days my account was back. I sold the websites anyway, so I can focus on my ecommerce business in China. I think the problem is not the address but rather there's little reason for CJ to believe that you can make a sale if you are running a Chinese website. Majority of the Chinese don't have Interntaional Credit Cards. Out of 1000 interested buyers, there may be only one who has International Credit Cards and is also willing to use it online. For the same reason, it's very hard for an ecommerce site running outside of China to sell anything to the chinese audience, regardless if you are ranked #1 on google in Chinese. The ecommerce business in China and the rest of the world is very different. There isn't much thing you can do to make a crossover and CJ knows that.
