As those who use Tradedoubler are aware its payment time (28th). But one of my merchants failed to pay the invoice in time, so I havent got what i'm owed.

Its not for an insignificant amount of money, so I need to see it in my bank account ASAP.

Thus far I have had little help from Tradedoubler, I spoke to somebody on the phone, who showed little interest and directed me to enquire via email, that email went unresponded to for the rest of the day (a good 7 hours).

I hope to hear from them tomorrow (29th) and perhaps I can tell you guys what happens, but if anybody already knows the score then please let me know.

Took a good look on the tradedoubler site and can find no reference to what the procedure is, all I found was that tradedoubler don't pay until the merchant has paid and I was aware of that already.

This is not the kind of thing I wanted to have to deal with as soon as I got back from Boston.

Boston?

Are you based in the US or the UK? From what I understand, the TD program is only available to UK publishers.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with this, I've been dealing with TD for sometime and although they do offer a good selection there admin is naff.

I've only had to email them a few times, but I've never had a reply and I've found the information out either here or by contacting merchant direct

Hi Kandevil

Checked at 9.30am? I was still asleep on the train.

From my experience Tradedoubler only pays its affiliates when it actual has the cash from the merchant in its bank account. When a merchant is late paying their invoice then your payment proportion from this merchant also gets delayed. Normally the merchant will either then catch up with payment (so you start getting paid on time again) or they continue with the pay lag and you can expected even more delay, four months for example. In rare cases when the merchant goes bust you will not get paid at all.

An update on the situation, never got a reply via email, but did get some success when trying again on the telephone, some very friendly good help.

Turns out the merchant had paid, but only just before the cut-off and something went a miss with their payments. They are currently investigating whether it was just with me, just with that merchant or across the board so I suggest that you check to see if your payments have come out as you expected, or whether anything has accidentally rolled over to next month.

They are going to get back to me ASAP. A further problem is they have to liase with Sweden which is where the technical and bill paying is being done from.

So I'm just hoping the can get it fixed and I can get paid ASAP and at least I haven't got a dodgy merchant.

Further update:

Had some decent help from the Tradedoubler UK admin office via the phone, but it turns out that the reason it all happened was because my merchant paid so very late in the merchant payment window, that it didn't show as paid when the affiliate payments occurred, so I missed out. There is some technical fault that means that it doesn't currently show as paid in my account balance, but they say it is and I'll get it at the next payment window.

I have taken it as far as I can with the admin, there is nothing further I can do, thankfully I am now being referred to accounts where I might get some more joy.

I have been on the phone and given the merchant a going over. They are now talking to Tradedoubler accounts for me and promise it won't be happening again and they will talk to their finance as it should have never have happened anyway.

But as it stands I'll be waiting to the next payment window.

Should really post the end to this story.

After some great assistance from the UK admin at Tradedoubler I got the invoice paid to me albeit a couple of weeks late. But I was glad for the assitance I got.

Now if only they hadn't start to compete with me on my PPC bids i'd be happy with them (interesting that it was this merchant I had trouble with that they are now competiting on, connected?) - see other thread in this forum btw
