Selling cheap 468x60 leftovers to a banner network

Any recommendations?

I am using Burst and Fastclick to serve the 468x60 banners on my site, but in the end there is always a considerable amount of default banners left that go unpaid. Does anyone know of a banner network that will reliably take those leftovers and pay at least a couple of cents for them?

Thanks!

Try Tribal Fusion, they pay much more (atleast to us) then both Fast and Burst.

Tribalfusion is hard to get into.
Burst is a good default source if you can get in.
If you can't I think clixgalore and Clickxchange may be good options. You have to pick ads to run very carefully and test though but both of these networks have lots of CPC campaigns that can be used at the top and bottom of pages.

Thanks for the recommendations. I've applied to TribalFusion as recommended, and I already get banners from Burst (as stated above). ClickXchange imho is a company that doesn't track clicks properly (talking about a factor of nearly 1:10 here), and although I hate to use the word "fraudulent," I really wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Thanks for recommending Clixgalore - I've been there a couple of days ago but ended up in their showcase, now that I've visited them again, I finally found the searchable database - difinitely worth a try!

Yosmc how do you consider clickxchange to not be tracking clicks? They report the ips of all clicks valid or not, repeat clicks or not.
Why are your clicks not counting? Are they not counted because many are from the few non US countries they don't count traffic from, the same person clicking an ad more than once, or why exactly. Checking the stats should make it obvious what the reason is.

Clickxchange gives more info about clicks they don't count and why than most networks.
They count lots of Non us traffic.

My experience with ClickXChange was strange... I advertised a product for them that fit very well into the theme of my site, the clickthroughs were allright according to my advertising software... but they just didn't show up on their end (not even as invalid clicks). Their first reply when I reported the problem was something along the lines of: "Sorry Dude, but we do not validate clicks from duplicate IP addresses, burst traffic, affiliates clicking on their own banner." - That pissed me greatly off, because it's just not the way to respond to such a problem. Fact is that the software we use correlates very precisely with Burst, Fastclick, and CJ, while it doesn't by a factor of about 1:10 with ClickXChange. I still have no clue why (omitting the ad software and inserting their code directly didn't make it better), but ClickXChange was insisting that "since the majority of publishers don't complain, it's you who must be wrong" so in the end I got impolite as well and left. I think that if they would have been willing to do a comprehensive test, we would have found the answer, but they just clicked on the banner from one machine (statistically not an exactly precise method), it worked, so they didn't see a problem.

How about creating a few "easy links" from Amazon, saving the files in your server, call them as your defaults, and putting them at the end of a Burst->FC->Amazon chain. Second tier ad networks will only get you $0.05 at the most. While a $5.00 Amazon sale will give you $0.25. That will make you even with one conversion per 5,000 impressions and ahead if you sell more than that.

Plus you can make defaults for every type of ad you have in your website banners/skyscrapers/125X125 etc.
