I'm running a price comparison site for books that recently joined Buy.com's affiliate program. Unlike most affiliate programs where there is a set pattern that I can use to link to their site based on my affiliate ID and the book's ISBN, Buy.com requires me to manually go to a form, enter a specific book's URL, and then generates a random link for me (sometimes based on the book's SKU number, sometimes not) that often doesn't work until 30 minutes after I generate it. I was wondering if anyone knows a way that I can automatically make affiliate links to buy.com without having to go through this tedious process?

Also, I read in an article that Buy.com has developed XML services for affiliates - does anyone know anything about this? I can't seem to find anything about it on buy.com's site, and they haven't responded to my emails. Thanks!

Hi, in order to do what you want, you've to pay LinkShare merchant program $250 to get a CSV which basically contains everything from the affiliate link to image to ISBN. You need to have decent programming skill to deciper the CSV, but since you are already running a complicated price comparison engine. Then this shouldn't be a challenge to you.
