Whoa! I tweaked a yellow page affiliate search box and fixed the text boxes so that the category became a drop-down and the city and state were pre-filled. The result: 13.61 CTR !!!

Awesome, Bob!! I have had much better results pre-filling targetted terms on affiliate search boxes.

That is a killer CTR, though. Haven't done near that well with mine.

Yes, TOO high. It'll set off the merchant's spam alarm. I pulled the pre-fills and emailed them asking for permission to alter the code. The CTR dropped to 7.5 when I did.
