In general, if someone has signed up as an affiliate to a merchant, is it OK for the affiliate to place text ads with their affiliate link in an online classifieds site, or an ezine?
Slightly different question, is this common practice?

I really cant see why there would be a problem at all. if the merchant has accepted you as an affiliate why would they have a problem of you trying to promote there products?
