Script for tracking adsense layout changes?

Howdy everyone.

I noticed many of the people running content sites and blogs tend to play with the adsense layouts a lot, so they can generate more clicks for the ads.

But I also noticed that there doesn't seem to be any script which lets you mess with these layouts and track the changes, so you can easily find out the layout that works the best for you.

Am I the only one who thinks this kind of product would be useful to us?

Well Adlogger is a good tracker but you'll have to do some of your own note taking (dates etc) when you change layouts.

Hey,
I'm not talking about tracking the people who clicked the ads. What I'm talking about, is tracking which layout of the ads is the most effective for you, and being able to change that layout easily (without messing through the code).

Wouldn't that be useful?

Every time I test a new placement or ad size, I create a corresponding channel for it. That seems neater to me and allows you to do split tests as well (e.g. 50% of pageviews are format A and 50% are format B).
