I've been looking into a few this morning that caught my eye and found that, as ever, 90% of the programs I start out to check up on I back out of the sites within 30 seconds. Yep, thirty seconds on site and they've lost me. I read three or four pages of hype about the "best offers,'" "best payment schedule," "most linking options," "absolutely top commissions." Then, when I go to find exactly what the offers are, what the payment schedule is, what linking options are offered and, ta da, how much the program pays, I'm faced with "Sign up to learn more."
Huh? You want me to give you all of my info before I see yours?
I'm assuming here that affiliate managers who use this tactic are being paid per sign-up and that they don't really care about performance or other metrics, so these would probably turn out to be poorly supported programs anyway. But I do wish they didn't waste my thirty seconds.
