Anyone ventured there yet?

I really haven't seen too many affiliate programs in the myspace arena, but you would think that with millions of users, there should be some sort of opportunity for fun gadgets, techie stuff etc. for this age group such as ringtones blah blah blah which seems like must have items for most myspacers.

Anyone ventured into these waters and made any money? Seems like most members could afford a few dollar puchase.

Ive totally thought about this. I dont know if it would get sticky to advertise or start spamming off myspace, id assume your account would just get closed. i post bullitens off my personal space.

I have thought about this a lot.

I'm wondering how to go about promoting it though.
Would you sign up for a myspace account(s) and have hope to capture eyes by building up your friends list or would you build a site that myspacers would use to get themes, backgrounds etc?

well myspace to me is based off a popularit/coolness factor. its one big highschool. and if ur the popular kid, u attract alot of people and they listen to what ur promoting. look at ( snip). typical hot girls with sexy profiles, millions of friends and are now making tv appearances, selling everything, and have their own clothing lines.purely out of nice profiles and a huge friend list. if you make a nice profile,if you make a good profile, good themes/background/pics, and get the right people ur set.
