Does Tradedoubler only allow clicks from UK residents?

Since I've added the Tradedoubler Kelkoo links to my site, I've noticed the clickthrough has been *much* lower than when the links pointed to Amazon.com, even though the link itself is identical in appearance.

Does anybody if Kelkoo or Tradedoubler filters out any clicks that aren't from a UK residency?

I know they don't accept publishers based in the USA so you may be right.

I don't think it's the case that they don't allow clicks from outside the UK - several of their merchants are in EU countries, and would presumably attract visitors from those countries.

What might be the case though is that because most of their merchants display prices in £ Sterling, residents of other countries are reluctant to complete a transaction in that currency.

Tradedoubler is an excellent partner provided most of your traffic originates from, and your site content is focused on, the UK. If most of your traffic is from the US, you might be better looking for a partner whose merchants price in dollars.

It was actually the clickthroughs to the Kelkoo page that are down. The CTR from that page are surprisingly high, considering the prices are all in £.

Just noticed this in the Tradedoubler FAQ:

I have tested the banners/link but clicks and UVs are not being recorded correctly?

Reporting of UVs and clicks can take up to one hour to update in publisher reports.
Have you entered your site URL correctly in SETTINGS >> Site information. The site URL MUST match the URL where the click is generated from including [www...]
The banners/links can only be placed on the registered URL in the system. Clicks will not record otherwise.
Keyword Buyers: If you are using Google Adwords, Overture or other keyword buying sites then you need to activate your account for Keyword Reporting, otherwise you will receive traffic errors. Please contact support, via the Support Contact form and request the site IDs you wish to have enabled for TradeDoublers keyword tracking tool.
Are you or your users clicking from an IP address not assigned to the UK? If you are clicking on UK advertiser program banners/links and are not based in the UK UVs may not record.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know of any good price comparison sites that are good for music-related searches, dollar-based, have an affiliate program and allow deep-linking using the name of an artist in the link code?

Nobody, then?
