New to Advertising.Need Some Suggestions

Media Kit, Contract, Payment Options and Terms

Hey everyone,

Well I have a couple companies wanting to advertise on my website. I am in the process of making a media kit which is going not as good as it should be. I'm no expert at creating media kits so it is taking me longer than expected. I'm trying to keep it simple and to the point - preferably on one page - two max.

Currently I have:
Monthly stats
Advertising Rates
Banner Requirements
Blurb about my company

Is anything missing?

Also, how should I charge? Should I charge monthly, quarterly or yearly?

What about a contract. Should I have some type of contract for them to sign? I don't want this backfiring in my face and I don't want any lawsuits against me.

Can anyone help me out?

I just did a quick look up on a search engine for " create media kit" and there was some good advice there.

As far as a contract, yes I'd definitely have one when working with others when cash is involved.
