Sorry, can't answer your questions - but I have a question for you. How many affiliate links do you have? I'm a newbie at all this SEO stuff. I currently have 3 affiliate links and looking for more. Mostly sending my links for free to search engines until the $$$ get better. Are your links profitable? TIA. :)

I used for a few high traffics affiliate links and found no problem.
However, I have notice that some redirect services will use his own affiliate link to redirect ur link if ur link isnt a affiliate link.
For an example, you wish to mask
[merchant.example.com...]
in tinyurl.
Once u run ur link e.g [redirectcompany.example.com...]
, you will notice that it will go through cj.com's affiliate link first then redirect to the merchant.

Regards

Thanks for the heads up Candyoff.

Newbie - I use a mix of contextual advertising programs, chitika, and commission junction affiliate programs. Have started to see significant commissions through the ebay program. Am also looking into Azoogle's CPA program, as I've heard they dish out sky high payouts.

However I want to keep my sites affiliate link light, because I'm concerned about the effects on search engine ranking. Adsense, Yahoo Ads, and Chitika seem to have zero negative effect on ranking.....But I'm not so sure about affiliate links.
