CJ can be relied upon to pay out they ask all their merchants to give them a deposit to cover this.

You should choose the advertisers that best match up with the subject matter of your web site(s).

The best-paying CJ advertiser overall could bomb on your site if what it offers is of no interest to your visitors!

True, but I also find the whole idea that there is one best-paying advertiser, or even a top ten. CJ does report results across the network, but there are so many different kinds of merchants represented, and so many different ways to set up your site....
