How much should I ask for the text link a month? Please help...
Concerning your question:
Compare it to how much you would make with a Google Adsense ad block. And then let them give you a reason to choose for their ad, meaning they should offer way more than you can get with Adsense.
For example imagine that an Adsense block would give you an ECPM of $ 10,-. Well, if they want you to put their ad on your site, they should perhaps offer you an ECPM of $ 20,-. So if we´re talking 500 uniques a day, that would mean $ 10,- per day is $ 300,- per month. But perhaps your Adsense ECPM is higher or lower than in this example...
adsense bast.s didn't give me any money also. it was always showing wrong! ads for my site and i was getting 10 cents a day! interestingly (!) the adsense links were nice ads for me,the software and services i was looking for my site and i clicked those ads to learn and maybe buy them. They kicked me out of Adsense telling me Invalid ads crap! I contacted them about i didn't earn any money from them and the ads were important for me. They didn't care!

First rule ... never, ever, click your own adverts. It looks like you're trying to defraud their advetisers to make money for yourself.
I assume placement of the ad has no impact here since these people are just interested in the backlink. I charge $225 per month with two links included. Some think that is outrageous though I have had two pay it for a year.
Has anyone know of a scale which lists the range of prices for a link?
If I sell some other site a PR5 link on a nice clean page, I would value mine as higher than those, but, then again, I wouldn't be too quick to sell a link on a site I don't want banned/devalued by Google...
Obviously, there is nothing wrong in selling advertising, that is how the web works, but selling links for PR seems to be viewed by Google as an attempt to manipulate their index and is therefore a no no.
