1) I call CJ to inquire about merchants who don't pay commission junction. A CJ rep says that if a merchant doesn't pay, they get deactiviated -- CJ cares about the affiliate and will use that leverage for payment. As a matter of fact, there was a merchant I promote that got deactivated with quickness due to non-payment, but the merchant paid within hours and were re-activated.

2) I call CJ a few days later and notice a merchant has not paid me since November. To make a long story short, after a few days of investigation, CJ doesn't know what the problem is. I tell them it is obvious the merchant hasn't paid, so why don't they suspend let other merchants? CJ has no answer...

3) I contacted the merchant a few days ago...The merchant just said they will look into this and I have not heard anything.

Anyway, thanks CJ for not backing your hardworking affiliates that make YOU money :( Suspend them already!

Just wait till you make a test purchase from one of your merchants, then find out some scammer in Paris got the commission. Then you'll really be a fan..

Hi all,

I have had quite a nice experience with CJ. Firstly, if you have the right site and the right program (I mean both complement each other) and you hard at promoting them, you can make good money. A lot of people here complain about receving no commisions or not being paid despite receiving large traffic. But huge traffic does not mean equally huge conversions and your viewers may be just passing through. You may not be able to convert because your site may not be getting quality traffic and must not be exposed to quality viewers who would be more interested in signing up or making a purchase. CJ definetly has the best affiliate programs and there is something in there for everybody. So dont lose hope, look for the program that fits your site or change that site to make it fit one of the many programs CJ has.

I have also read lots of complaints about bad customer support or CJ not caring about publishers. But I dont think thats true. I have always received prompt replies to my emails. I have always been sent my payments on time and I have been with them for over a year now. Recently, I put my sites through a SEO program and CJ sent me a notice within a few days warning ne of traffic inflation. That shows they are looking after the interests of advertisers. I was then sent a mail notifying me about deactivation. I immediately emailed back asking for an explanation which I got promptly. I then explained my SEO program I had used (about which I should have informed CJ in the first place)and I was advised to check my websites in the website settings to indicate I was using special promotional methods. This was followed by a series of email exchanges and I was actually receiving 2-3 emails a day from CJ. Finally, I was advised to apply for reaffilation to the programs and although I was worried about losing thousands of dollars in commissions, I did that. The person at CJ-his name is ED - actually put in a word for me and I was reaffiliated. Ed even emailed me yesterday saying that he was sending all the commissions in the March payout cycle.

Does it get any better than this? I would have lost my accounts and thousands in earnings because I had not informed CJ about my SEO program I was using to add traffic. But CJ actually helped me correct my mistake and I am back in business again. This simply shows that CJ cares equally about its advertisers as well as publishers.

So dont get disheartened by a couple of bad experiences or negative experiences of other people. CJ is simply the best in terms of the programs they have, timely payments and fantastic cusomer support. Keep experimenting with different sites and different programs and youll hit the jackpot soon enough!

I can't see what biz it is of cj about how much traffic you get. If people are really buying the product then cj should have nothing to say. That's what webmasters do they look all the time for more traffic, if cj is so stupid that they don't understand that that's a webmasters job then I don't think I would want them holding a months worth of my income.

Their job is to make sure I get credit for my customers, that's it. They are not there to control how i make my money or get my traffic.
I mean it's not hard if sales are being made then what the cookie.
Pay the man in the first row.
And if some one doesn't pay then cj should pay because they presented them as paying affiliates.
