Anyone using the Ebay affiliate program? I just sold my first item and got a 40% commission ... resulting in 0.11€ on a 0.28€ auction :-) Is this commission also low for auctions in a higher price range? The explication on Ebay is a bit confusing. How large will the commission be if I sell for example an item for about 1.000€?

The eBay affiliate program pays 40-70% of the fees eBay collects from a completed auction (listing fee, final value fee, etc.)
If you figure around 7% of the sale price (rough estimate) in fees, for a $1000 dollar auction, $1000 * .07 = $70 * .4 = $28 in commission.
It's a volume game with eBay. Expect to see a lot of sub-$1 commissions. Otherwise, cozy up to eBay Motors or where the big-ticket items are.
