Automating Cj

I have recently signed with a new affiliate through cj and it says that they have a datafeed but I can find nothing.

Now if I cant use that I will have to do all these products by hand, that is about 500 products.

Is there any easy way to get all this info from them and add it to my site?

Unless you make a lot from CJ you have to pay something like $250 for the datafeed. You could also ask the merchant directly, I've had some success with that. Alternatively, you can scrape the data from the CJ interface.

everyone here uses cj, someone has to know, I cannot do anything until I know how to do this, please someone direct me.

Scraping involves writing a program to navigate the CJ interface and extract data. Since you can view it on the screen, it logically follows you should be able to write a program to build a datafeed out of it.

so basically your saying Im going to have go through and get each product one by one seeing as I cannot write a program such as that.

I mentioned three ways, one of which was to scrape. Did you try the other two ways, namely asking the merchant for it, or paying CJ for it?

I'm pretty small potatoes in this AM biz, but those are the only three ways I've found to get a datafeed.

dkin, in case you were looking for a second opinion on this, SeanW is correct. If you don't want to pay the fee, ask the merchant you're interested in. Many do offer it directly.
