Have you worked blogs into your strategy?

I FINALLY have started up a blog just to get a feel for what it's all about.

I was wondering if anyone worked blogs into your affiliate marketing portfolio?
I'm especially interested if anyone is using them for links to products and merchants in a traditional affiliate model?

-How about blogging for Adsense?
-Blogging for feeding PR to a money site?
