I'm looking for a magazine affiliate program, and I've narrowed it down to magazines.com and netmagazines.com. Does anyone have any experience with either of these programs? I investigated several others and wasn't impressed with many of their terms (low commissions, high payment thresholds, etc.). But are there some I should consider in addition to these 2?

Thanks in advance!

Amazon sells magazines subscriptions. 5% commission, increasing with volume, plus 2.5% bonus for what they call a "direct-link" sale.

One major advantage with Amazon is that so many people already have accounts there, which increases conversions....

hunderdown, thanks for the response. I've tried Amazon, but only 1 conversion in the past year. I hear what you're saying about the popularity of the site in general, but in your experience, do magazines convert well? Their commission rate is much lower than the magazine sites (20-30%), but of course I could potentially make up the difference in volume. I guess my question is whether I need to try Amazon more and/or differently, or find another program. Any thoughts?

Thanks again!

I have had good experiences with Amazon selling books. I think I only have one page on my site that has links to magazine subscriptions and have only sold a few, but that's not all that surprising--the magazines are at the end of a very long page with many recommended books coming first.

If they don't work for you, then that's a different story. I thought I'd mention them in case you hadn't tried them.
