Can someone just tell me how it works?

Hi guys!

I am new to affiliate type of stuff and I registered with CJ but I have a stupid uderstanding problem and need help:

I want to use only text links on my site, no image but the affiliate programs provide at least a 1pixel image -

When I insert the hyperlinks on my site it just doesn't work, for example

<A HREF="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=#*$!xx&siteid=#*$!xx&bfpage=xxxxx" TARGET="_top">xxxx Home Page</A>

...doesn't work alone? How come? And actually I receive constantly a "can not find server" from Bfast? what's going on?

Always copy the code they give you to notepad and then from notepad copy it to your editor of choice. If you copy it directly it sometimes garbles the code.

If you are using frontpage try inserting the code using the insert advance function.

Also, until you get more experienced, don't delete the 1 pixel image. It won't appear on your page--it enables them to track impressions.

Unless they've changed something, you don't actually need that, if you aren't interested in impressions, but I wouldn't mess with it until you really know what you are doing.
