Is there a way to make a simple text link with my affiliate ID? The code generated on BN Affilate is not usable in a forum post, so i wonder if there is a simpler version like Amazons (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/IBSNnumber/myaffiliateID-20) available for BN...

when you logon to affiliate.net, click on graphs and links.. and then there is an option to generate links by typing an ISBN number.
Take that link and just change the ISBN with whatever you like.

hello sdani,

thanks for your reply...

that link, that is produced on the affiliate site after i enter the ISBN is not a simple link but a monster...

IMG SRC="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/serve?bfmid=3001&sourceid=41513405&bfpid=2581840380&bfmtype=book" BORDER="0" WIDTH="1" HEIGHT="1" NOSAVE ><A HREF="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=2181&sourceid=41513405&bfpid=2581840380&bfmtype=book" TARGET="_top"><IMG SRC="http://images.barnesandnoble.com/images/10310000/10313834.gif " BORDER="0" ALIGN="center" ALT="The Widget: How Blue Widgets and Its Rivals Rewrote the Rules of Business" ><BR>The Widget: How Blue Widgets and Its Rivals Rewrote the Rules of Business</A><P>

how can i get a link that is "simpler" and still be enough to get credit for?

cheers

I have been using this for years,
[barnesandnoble.bfast.com...]

XXXXXX is your affiliate id
__ISBN__, of course is your isbn

good luck.

link posted by chaitan would work, and also from the link that you posted - you only need the part which starts AFTER "A HREF=" and ends with book. - So take the http..... which is within quotes AFTER "A HREF="
