Removing Adsense for Chitika

Yes. I have to admit this as Chitika reduced 80% of my revenue under the name audited revenue. What a joke. I have taken the proper step (of course it means removing Chitika and going back to adsense)but this has triggered lot of questions.

1. Are we really going to have some solid option for Adsense?

2. Does YPN have similar option which will cut the income (and the throat)of publishers?

3. Any Idea about Adcenter of MSN, that can be an alternative for adsense becoz compitition is always good for publishers.

Wow 80 percent is a lot. For me it was only about 19 percent.

Anway, I still like Chitika. Despite the drop in CTR, EPC and the audits they still earn me more than AdSense.

It was only about 40% for me, however they do make it clear the countries they discount clicks from in the auditing process so you should be able to check your traffic logs to estimate this effect....

But they audited clicks from allowed countries also, Have a look here [webmasterworld.com...] many webmasters have stated that they were using Geo-ad targetting to serve ads to only countries accepted by Chitika, still they were audited heavely.

I have Chtika as PSA replacement.

So far a real terrible CTR.

The CTR is in the range of anti targeted banners.

I'm curious, for those with a huge percentage drop in Chitika income, do you have lots and lots of clicks? In other words, I'm wondering if there is any relation between lots of clicks and a high reduction due to, er, fraudulent clicks.

Alas, digicamhelp, I am getting only about one fifth of my Adsense CTR with Chitika -- and 40% of that went away in the audit.

I placed chitika's ads to replase banner which wasnt earnig a cent - traffic on my wesite mainly from UK, and chitika worked! only very few clicks were disabled, got money in my paypal :)

running and adsense on my site, AS pays my second wage for me, chitika is very very low click true - hope with christmas comming CTR would improve ;)

Lot of comments on Jensense too. How do they audit revenue? Do they take into consideration only US based clicks?

Alas! Chitika is not the next best thing after Adsense.
