Chitika percentage differs by product type?

Cheap electronics pay more than expensive clothing?

I run chitika on 2 types of sites. On one site I chose electronics products (Palms, etc). The price for these range from $100 to $500. On my other site I run clothing ads for high end designer clothing where the prices can go up to thousands of dollars. What I am seeing is that even though the clothing has a higher price, chitika is paying me much less per click. Has anyone else seen this? Do they pay more for one product type over another?

Maybe it's not the product category but the merchant.

Thats a good theory as well. Does anyone else have any stats on different merchants/product categories paying more than others?
