Can I Create Custom Landing Pages for ClickBank Products?

Hello,

I'm a new ClickBank affiliate and have just created a custom landing page for a product as the original landing page had room for improvement. Now however I've discovered that the "hoplink" system sends all buyers to the same, mediocre landing pages of the merchant.

Is it possible to have users purchase the product directly from my own landing page site?

Perhaps I could send the buyer direct to the actual payment URL page, for example:
[clickbank.net...]
Or will this not work because the affiliate id isn't included - please tell me either way.

This system was supposed to be updated in 2005, but this is awful if I can't make my own landing pages - they make a huge difference. Thanks for your help,

Well, yes and no. Yes you can create them, but no, they are not technically endorsed by Clickbank meaning that they could all of a sudden stop working. I have been using it for almost a year now with no hitches. The code will look like this:

[clickbank.net...]

Replace YourCBID with your clickbank ID, Replace VendorsCBID with the affiliate id of the vendor (leave the underscore between the two)
Product number can be found by viewing the vendor's website's link, product name can also be found by viewing their website's link.

Put the link in a page with a redirect meta refresh tag, with a zero second delay. A step further, you can also determine the text in the status bar using a couple of lines of javascript code.

JavaScript would be the simplest way and would allow you to write whatever you want to the status bar, it's a nice solution.

You could also use mod rewrite to make the link look like it's within your domain, sometimes this is also desirable.

JS is probably easier. :)
